"Hosting ACC is completely different than what I’m used to doing, but I’d like to think that it's something I know a little bit about - the music and the artists anyway," notes American Country Countdown host, Kix Brooks. "For the last twenty five years I’ve lived and died by this chart, first as a songwriter and now with Brooks & Dunn, and I know how these artists feel from week to week. I’m honestly interested in what they’re up to and it’s fun to share it with the fans, and amazingly, most of them are actually still talking to me," he adds with a grin. "There’s also a lot of great music being made right now, and it’s fun to be in the middle of it – I’m having the time of my life!"

Kix attracts the best of Country artists to the show with guests such as George Strait, Rascal Flatts and Faith Hill to name a few. He brings an incredible gift to Country fans in terms of familiarity with the Nashville scene but also his close personal relationships with the stars, and the music.
